Bree's Review:
This game plunges you into the harrowing world of "The Walking Dead," following Daryl and his encounters with walkers. I was drawn to it because of my enjoyment of the mobile game that featured Lee and Clementine. Although I'm not very familiar with the TV show, which the game ties into by featuring characters like Daryl and Merle from the comics and show, I found the game's atmosphere quite intense. My fear of navigating this zombie-infested world led me to enlist my younger brother as the actual player, while I directed him on strategies and movements. One memorable gameplay location was a hospital, where a dramatic scene involving a collapsing floor terrified us to the point of shutting the game off every time. I initially thought the game might support multiplayer, given Merle's presence as Daryl's companion, but it turned out to be a solo journey. Interestingly, every new challenging scenario caused my brother to reflexively turn off the console, adding to our tense and fragmented experience with the game.
