Bree's Review:
This game is a platformer featuring a level editor, where you control Sackboy, a customizable rag doll. The game includes a story mode with pre-designed levels that highlight Sackboy's abilities. Players can customize Sackboy's appearance, control his emotions, and even make him explode—a useful tactic for escaping tough spots. Certain areas require placing stickers in specific locations to unlock rewards like additional stickers and clothing. At the end of each level, the game displays your performance percentage, lives lost, and rewards collected. I have fond memories of playing this game, especially with my younger brother. We primarily tackled story mode, which became increasingly challenging, particularly the final level that tested our timing and awareness of the game's mechanics. The level creator is a fantastic feature that allows for creative expression, and I particularly enjoyed customizing the hub—the room you start in before heading out to levels—decorating it with stickers and objects to personalize the space.
